How the project developed

Why does the project exist?

The starting point for the project is the Free State of Saxony's plan to establish a partnership with an African country, as agreed in the coalition agreement. The decision-making process of the Saxon government was supported by the ENS. Not least because of the strong commitment of ENS member organisations in Uganda, the decision was ultimately made in favour of the East African country. The process gave rise to the desire to continue to be involved in the development of the partnership at civil society level.
